IMSI Design is aware of ongoing cases involving unauthorized TurboCAD sales, and of parties impersonating IMSI Design, TurboCAD, and current or former IMSI Design employees.
These activities may involve lookalike email domains, fraudulent payment sites, misleading product listings, unauthorized resellers such as Blitzhandel24, shortened or redirected download links, invalid or improperly supplied licences, and unauthorized or modified software installers. We are actively monitoring and reporting these incidents.
Known fraudulent and lookalike domains
The domains below are not operated by IMSI Design. They imitate our brand names and have been used for fraudulent sales, spoofed email, or payment pages. Do not buy from them, and do not enter personal or payment information on them.
This list is not exhaustive — new lookalike domains appear regularly. Treat any unfamiliar seller with caution even if it is not named here.
Official IMSI Design and TurboCAD websites
Customers should rely on the official IMSI Design and TurboCAD websites:
Note the difference carefully: turbocad.de is our official German store, while imsidesign.de is not ours. A single letter or a different domain ending is often all that separates a genuine address from a fraudulent one.
How to protect yourself
1. Buy only from official or authorized sources
Purchase TurboCAD through official IMSI Design or TurboCAD websites, or through an authorized reseller. If you are unsure whether a seller is authorized, contact us before purchasing. A website selling TurboCAD is not automatically an authorized IMSI Design reseller.
2. Check the sender and website domain carefully
Fraudulent domains may differ from a legitimate IMSI Design domain by only one letter, an added word, or a different domain extension. Do not assume an email is legitimate simply because it uses the name of an IMSI Design or TurboCAD employee.
3. Be cautious with payment links
IMSI Design marketing emails may link to official product pages, but we do not normally send customers direct payment-processor, invoice-payment, or third-party checkout links by email. If a payment request appears unusual, verify it with us before paying.
4. Verify download links before installing
Do not run a TurboCAD installer obtained through an unfamiliar website, a shortened URL, a redirected download link, a file-sharing service, or any other unverified source.
5. Watch for product or licence inconsistencies
Contact us if the product, edition, or version does not match what you purchased; the serial number or licence does not match the product; activation behaves unexpectedly; you are asked to bypass normal licensing or entitlement procedures; or the software, installer, icons, or behaviour appear different from an official TurboCAD installation.
6. Be cautious of unusually large discounts
Very low prices, lifetime-licence claims for products normally sold under different terms, unusually large discounts, or pressure to purchase quickly can all be warning signs of an unauthorized seller.
Unauthorized resellers
IMSI Design has identified websites offering TurboCAD and related IMSI Design products without authorization. This includes Blitzhandel24 and associated regional storefronts, which are not authorized by IMSI Design to sell or distribute TurboCAD, ViaCAD, SharkCAD, or other IMSI Design products.
Products purchased from unauthorized sellers may involve invalid, previously issued, improperly obtained, or otherwise unauthorized licences. IMSI Design cannot guarantee the authenticity, security, licensing status, updates, or support eligibility of software obtained from these sources.
If you are considering purchasing from a third-party seller, please contact us first and we will confirm whether the seller is authorized.
