History of IMSI

IMSI started its operations as a software publisher in 1983, and entered into the CAD software market in 1988, when the company began private-labeling the program ProDesign (now DesignCAD) under the name IMSI Design. The following year, IMSI began reselling TurboCAD, the brand that was to become the company’s flagship brand, owned and developed by IMSI since 1990.
